Wayne Lackey

The Secret of the Hidden Land

 

We though it only fitting that our Author Highlight this week be a local and an individual who might just start writing for this site soon.

 

Wayne Lackey was born in Oroville, California.  He took an interest in writing at a young age, and, encouraged and aided along the way by many teachers, he pursued it through his early years of college.  Inspired in a science class in high school, he wrote the first draft of his first book, The Secret of the Hidden Land, although it was not until he furthered his education in college that he returned to the book, and subsequent books in the series.  Having rewritten the first book of the series, he continues with the next installment of Prophecies of Tyrestia.   He currently attends California State University Chico, studying for a degree in English.
